@b3 not accurate. The DFS CISO left on his own. He never had a place in the new org from the start. Also their strategies were not aligned so there was no path forward. And, nobody from DFS gets into the top levels and jeopardizes the corrupt leadership/firing system COF has spent decades building. Nobody at DFS aligns with their ruthless stack ranking unless they already have it in their DNA - and there are many. Those who drink the kool-aid get to stay and continue the process. Anyone who questions the ethics or humanity get cleaned out.
@ya ~430 were let go. Not as big as the one back in February this year. Next one could be the big one bases on PIPs!
Anyone knows how many employees were impacted?
@gf this is the wrong document. The layoff happening on that date is not the date that employees are informed. There's an entire WARN act window between the two events. They don't publicly announce before they tell the impacted employees.

The Chief Information Security Officer for Cyber is a real loser. Right when the acquisition was announced the Capone CISO fired the Discover CISO. Cyber management are total trash anyway at legacy Capone, they must be fired all of them.
This place is more toxic than First Data when run by Frank B.
