@10b Thanks for proving my point about your character! Because if someone disagrees with you they must be “negative and sad and need your prayers.” So condescending. Also assuming I’m not already a manager is your mistake. Maybe stop thinking you know so much on an anonymous board?

@tj congratulations on the path you are on. I’m not sure why anyone would be so bitter other than they obviously are not the candidates we want on our teams. I salute you for your strong work ethic and determinations. People who are negative- it’s sad and they are obviously in a sad place in their lives. We can pray for them but let’s hope they never become our manager. Doubt we have much to worry about..

@tj No one said they should pick a terrible employee. You’re just not seeing that you’re terrible. Telling everyone you’re great doesn’t make it true. In fact it’s usually the opposite. And you’re probably like the others. Picked not because you’re work is so good but because you’re the biggest a-s kisser. Managers can tell those a mile away and are quick to hire them. So keep being delusional and telling everyone how special you are.

@qg yeah because they should pick a terrible employee over someone who has demonstrated the qualities they are looking for in the role. Lol cope harder that you don't work hard enough to stand out.

@pz I tend to agree. Once you know you have the candidate of choice- you know. It’s also important to move fast as the “good ones” often move on quick from interviews. Only the lonely get left behind. And as you know we still have a lot of them lingering. Great job!

@pz No that isn’t the way it should be. Picking the person before the interview isn’t how it’s supposed to work. And the commenter was all humblebrag. It does explain so much about how Molina picks people. And why Molina is in the sh---y shape it’s in.

@by I can confirm this is true. I was promoted to my position this way. But here's why... My work ethic and general positive attitude towards whatever was asked of Me made people take notice. I spent years of hard work to show people this. I knew I got the job the day I was interviewed but they had to finished everyone else's interview before they could offer it to me. Your reputation precedes you and people will take note. Work hard and put yourself out there. It's more about who you know and what you have shown them than anything you can put on a resume.

A lot of internal/external job postings are "fake" - meaning they already have the candidate in mind - but HR demands that the hiring manager put the posting out there. This practice is prevalent in mainly public companies to act like they are actively looking for the best hire (for show) when they are not. All you can do is keep applying and hope that the posting is really meant for other employees.
