I hope something happens soon. Morale is at an all time low and productivity even lower.

New hire ticket closed as well, started in Q1 2026 - anyone with more than a year get their new hire ticket closed or know of the most tenured person getting their ticket closed?

my new hire/rehire IT ticket was closed at 2am this morning. Random because I started last November. Another coworker had theirs closed today as well. Just waiting at this point...
Oh for sure. I'm raring to go and be a dynamo of productivity for PayPal, if only the layoff situation could be clarified.

FYI there is no New York WARN notice so I’m not sure these can happen in NY within the next 30 days? That said I may be misunderstanding the law. Google NY state layoff WARN and choose “finance” from “by industry”
@b2 sorry no source other than rumors of huge layoffs in the immediate future and historically layoffs have been on a Tuesday but would normally have been announced by now.

@b2 Not OP but pretty sure it’s just historical precedent of layoffs on Tuesdays.
Wouldn’t meetings be on calendars by now? 7am ET now but obviously later in other locations.
Everyone is waiting for the announcement to be made so that those that are not impacted can mentally get back to work.
