Suggestion for you regarding your new job: No matter how bad things were in your former job/with your former company, don't bring up the subject of them at your new job, at all.
It gives an impression that you're still attached to your old company, and no one in the new place gives a sh!t or wants to hear about how things worked or what procedures you followed at some other company where you worked in the past. It also creates an atmosphere where the new people will be wondering if you'll be sh!t-talking about them or the new company further on down the road. It leaves a taste of doubt and distrust.
It's like if you're in a new romantic relationship, the last thing your new partner wants to hear about is you talking about your ex. Doesn't matter if it's in disparaging ways, or in comparison where you're favoring the new situation over the old one...it's just not a good idea to broach that subject at all.
Live in the present, and don't bring up old job comments at all in the new one.
Keep the focus on what's happening NOW!
