A judge just sided with the EEOC that NM must turn over all DEI related data as part of a federal investigation. The years of discriminatory practices against white males in the field and home office is about to be exposed.

@15 According to AI “There is no credible news outlet, business journal, or sports source shows anything matching the claim. There’s no publicly documented scandal involving [JES’s] son, a pro baseball team, or a multi‑million‑dollar sponsorship — but there is a pattern of posts being removed because they rely on unverified claims. Nothing in the current news record supports the allegation.”
THAT’S why your posts are being deleted.
NEWSFLASH: Not everything on the Internet is factual.
I went to an emplyee session quite a few years back where the Director of HR said very honestly that HR is there primarily to support management (i.e. supervisors and up) NOT employees. I never expected more from that moment on.
Similar theme he was reported multiple times to the ethics team. Nothing happens DEI is out of control at NM, look at the HR teams.
HR needs a fresh start as there is NO trust between the employees to HR.
Tim this starts with YOU, don’t become a JES junior.
Who’s the law firm that is requesting testimony? We have great audio, emails, slack from Ahmed to choose from, saying he does / never promotes a white male.
Nevermind it will be part of discovery thanks to the slack capture process :)
He did not like white males.
Interesting that every post mentioning JES’s son and affiliation to a pro baseball team combined with a questionable multi-million sponsorship gets deleted. So much for ethics and standards.
You must be promoted only if you are an exploiting female agent for the globalist 1%. Or low testosterone white male Ally!
You work to extract wealth and destroy sovereign American citizens
@jm Learnvest. This has cost NM well over $1B. JES was also the first CEO in a 160 year history to have to lay off employees.
@k7 LV was hardly a blip, it was a financial and morale disaster. $250 million for a high school quality web site and then over $500 million (the cost of the North Bldg project) trying to get value out of it before abandoning ship. Not to mention the horrible “leadership” from LV, LV leaders were put into high places at NM including VPs, they were confident yet clueless and set us back with disastrous decisions, lack of understanding of the business, and not knowing how to scale. It took years to remedy the many mistakes they made.
JES leadership as board chairman at Kohl’s has been far from stellar while he was being paid north of $400k / year when you include stock options for very part-time work, not a bad side hustle if you can get it.
I asked Gemini for insight and pasted a snippet here, there was a lot of pressure from hedge funds and investor activists to oust him, he was criticized for having no retail experience and for the lackluster financial performance during his tenure. From Gemini:
While the official announcement strictly states John Schlifske retired for "personal reasons", major corporate departures during prolonged periods of business stagnation are rarely entirely coincidental. A combination of structural "board refreshment," activist investor fatigue, and recent executive chaos strongly suggests that his departure was a strategic move to placate shareholders.
@jw Wow. You really just don’t understand the business that NM is in. How they actually make money. In the scheme of things, LV was a blip, a tiny tiny blip on the books of a 170yr old company. Why are you still talking about it like it’s somehow dragging the company down. We’ve moved on.
@jm unfortunately it's easy to prop up unsustainable numbers that you see published. All you have to do is not be around when reality hits. He watched all the LV VPs do it and that was his baby with AVT.
@cf just look to ask the new leaders who keep hiring white male consultants to explain their jobs and coach then through basic decisions.
@h5 I’m curious what metrics and data suggest he “ran it into the ground.” Best I can tell, NM grew under his tenure in sales, revenue, earnings and investment performance. I find no evidence for your comment. You might not like the guy or might have had a bad experience, but this is a business and the business metrics suggest the company is doing well.
@gs Ran it? Ran it right into the ground. Kohls must have wised up to his antics. He was the worst thing that happened to NM in 160+ years. He did Kohls a favor by leaving.
@fz Seriously? This guy ran a fortune 100+ company for 15 years. You think this little issue is causing him so much stress that he quit the Kohl’s board? You think he decided to quit in one day? You don’t think that his stepping down has been in the works for some time? Just because 2 news stories hit on the same day doesn’t make them related.
JES just resigned from Kohl’s for “personal reasons”. The stress of knowing a deposition and litigation are coming must be getting to him.
Also the classic, "it didn't work like that for my situation", therefore there is no problem!
@cf Things that never happened brought to you by TheLayoff comment section.
Funny.. as a woman I’ve been passed up for a few promotions because they preferred to promote white, straight, men. I was told this the first time. Where’s this DEI everyone’s claiming and can I get some of it?
Can't wait for JES, Silver Fox, and Lips to all give depositions.
How about the 400 years of discriminatory practices against black males?
