Right when you think it cannot get more ridiculous they prove you wrong. I dont want to quit in this market but the moment I find anything comparable I am out of this stinker. My manager is still asking us for project updates like she thinks anything matters. Such an incompetent woman in tech.

What would they do to stay busy with their jobs? They'll definitely be gone if they can't even pretend to be engaged.

The entire upper management is filled up with such incompetent and apathetic people. In your case it's a woman , my case it's man. But it's everywhere in every team. They have survived by making others as the scapegoat for their failures. What do you expect from them !!
