So far it’s been rumored over the past 6 months that every week the EISP is coming.Yet here we are with more rumors of rumors.I would say I have been watching so many fellow union associates keep putting off their plans .At this point if they are ready to they should just go !!If the extra money is the deal breaker maybe your not ready to go .But ya so tired of hearing the same conversations!!!

@dv hiring obligations doesn’t mean there can’t be an offer. There’s been offers in New York state almost every year during every contract extension. As long as the company meets contractual hiring agreements they can declare surpluses using the force adjustment plan. And contrary to popular belief the company doesn’t need the union’s blessing to do so.
@bw there was a March 2012 offer in New York state that included field techs. I remember it well because I was on a board and lodging assignment in Manhattan and a coworker from my garage that was with me retired in the middle of the board and lodging assignment. We were also at the time working without a contract.

Our director told us in a meeting that a surplus of techs will be declared and that they are also obligated to hire 200 new techs in New York State. He didn’t have a date but was solid on it being by the end of year
@ax financial guys been mailing flyers out and dropping them off at the garage for the last 6 months. I think they are just listening to rumors also.
@ar never offered in March or July. Definitely Not in nj ! in the last 30 years they have been exclusively been offered December, with one in 2016 being offered in September that's it.

Waiting on a EISP myself. I have another job lined up since getting out of being a tech is nearly impossible. I revived a retirement flyer from the cwa today ? Historically that usually means one is coming very soon . It’s funny how the financial advisors know before we do like our life’s aren’t on hold hahha
@a7 that’s d-mbest thing I ever heard they offered them in march July many times and they pay vacation out no matter what … if you take it or u don’t and get paid out … that’s in the total compensation they consider wisps on … lol
There will be a eisp there is every year but it may only be clerks and other non tech jobs, who knows for sure until it happens.
Great if there is, no biggie if there’s not. Leaving next year package or not.
People can say whatever they want on this board but historically I don't think there has ever been an EISP offered in the first eight months of the year. The company doesn't want to have to pay each person leaving an extra $2200 per week of vacation that they still haven't used. That could add up to $20 million dollars if you were trying to get rid of 2000 people. Sept thru Dec have historically been the months of EISP's. Doesn't mean one is coming, but more likely Sept thru Dec.
@OP that’s why you don’t believe rumors but with that said the “rumor” (which it always was and still is) was it would be offered by the end of Aug. Again it’s still simply a rumor until it’s not, but if you were hearing every week that it was supposed to be “this week” than the person you were getting the rumor from wasn’t even right on the rumor
