RTM

Does the RTM have to be out on the field everyday ? Or only when ever there’s a call off or no coverage ?..i think a lot of rtms think they will be at home and only come out whenever there’s a call off

Current sales reps in my team don’t throw any loads . Maybe like once a week . For the most part they only get 5 orders a day .

How many do you throw now? Not sure why anyone would think you'd be throwing less as an RTM. You will definitely be throwing more. Everytime someone calls off, quits that's on you. You'll also getting yelled at constantly for being over budget so you'll have to throw more

@OP as Ive been an RTM for the past 2 years on my team I can tell you that they expect you to have all your F and D and your merchandisers wont worry about selling so you need to be in your stores constantly selling. Generally most of us take 1 day as an office day for calls and stay home. If someone calls in and a SA is not available you'd likely have to cover it unless you just force your team to pick up more hours.

RTM is the worst job at the company. I'd way rather be a ftow.

Been an RTM for four months now and I’ve never been able to just sit home. Like the previous poster said, you’ll be cleaning up , you’ll be covering days off. You’ll be trying to sell. You’ll be doing the DMI that the FTOW’s didn’t do., Displays they didn’t do , you need to get out there and use pitcher for sell visits that will more be tracked by Bringoz, then you have to try to do all that cr-p like keep up with emails that flood your inbox from people that DO sit at home all day and don’t really do anything, but they’re paid for some reason to do the nonsense that they do…you have to coach ftows at least twice a week, fill out coaching form, but they will never get any better. I’m sure i missed a lot, but that’s just some of it

You will still do everything you do now but with a lot more at home work so yes you'll be in stores alot probably even more than now

Well you'll always be shorthanded so you will almost always be throwing orders. There's also cleaning up backrooms and working backstock because nobody will do that, building displays that your ftow didn't do, training ftow which you have to do every week, taking dmi pictures, pitcher app... You'll never be at home
