So! These sc-mbags in HR found a way to rob us out of 10% of our bonus. Managers desperate to look good will go by the book and sc--w over their subs. Great.
@ezj It has started quietly. Someone has been asked to move teams or leave. Was given some random nonsense reasons but we all know what it’s really about

Simply put AES is the worst run company I have ever seen
Just waiting to see if tons more people get laid off the last week of February again...
Coming on a year since last years layoffs. Article this week speculating the blackrock/GIP acquisition with EQT. January 2026 saw the highest number of planned layoffs since 2009. What have people heard? What is the feeling in your departments? More layoffs?
All I can say is something is coming and I wouldn’t classify it as good. Everyone should be networking and updating their resume.
Curious if anyone has heard any layoff talk or rumors. Things feel sketchy again, like before layoffs happened last February.
