Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

The go getters

So you made it through the rounds. Got the degree, got the interview and ended up at XOM. Only to see less accomplished people with an accent take your job in your own patio. All under a false sense of misplaced nationalism that saw your land be stolen from you the same way colonizers stole from the natives But you forgot about that because you went to church, gave money to charity and volunteered for hapless causes.

Nobody escapes fate neither karma. This has nothing to do with God but YOU! You were behind the wheel and you dozed up.

Happy migration in and out from the sla-ghterhouse in Spring. It was nice not to see you.

@fd again, it's the senior executives that pulled the triggers and started this downfall for their own agenda. But since we can't really do anything to the these "gods" and the big bosses, we gotta channel our hate somewhere within our reality. And I agree with some of your statements, the Indians aren't helping themselves with the poor work quality, backstab, diploma mills, etc. But in my opinion, it's our senior management that really destroyed everything.

@e0, and somehow the Indians are not culpable? How about the Indians at Boston Consulting Group who sold this racist dream to our senior managers? How about those who faked their credentials and experience to get our jobs. How about those who use AI to do the work or those who don’t put in the effort and rely on us to correct everything they do? Or those that post with distain for us on this sight? There are no innocents here. There’s a reason you rarely see such hostility towards other outsourcing provider countries like KL or BKK.

@d1 this!!!

We funnel our hate to the foreigners but it's ExxonMobil senior executives that enabled and pulled the trigger to decimate and trim all local jobs.
The Indians are just playing along and doing what they can to take advantage of the situation. We would totally do the same if the situation is reversed.

@dn yup, you are right, you are an imbecile that call people names due to a mental incapacity that doesn't allow you to debate.

i really don't understand the hate for the colleagues from overseas. it's not their fault this is the business model our leaders chose. i get why it's upsetting, i'm upset too, but you're directing your anger at the wrong people.

People with an accent? This forum is full of helpful individuals looking out for each other and sharing useful information that our organization struggles to provide. However, the cultural bias and rampant racism in a lot of these posts is polluting this place in less than productive ways. Being wronged su-ks but trying to pi-s with entitlement isn't helping anybody.
