What are you talking about? All the furniture is still in every neighborhood. Are you hallucinating?
@km Been subtle shift of furniture. Leather chairs in break area swapped out for lower-end chairs. Also saw old-school moving boxes on carts. Management, what say you?
We enjoy your trolling across the O&G businesses here (as it's pretty grim...your light humor cheers us up). Here's the thing though.... check out the financial sector posts (e.g., Fidelity, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Crocker Bank, etc.. ) there's really a lot of trolling opportunities there, it's rich fishing waters.

As a Slacker I’ll be hiding out in the broom closet until I am able to retire. My paycheck is auto deposit so they don’t really know where I am! My last PMP was 2021 so I’m not sure who my boss is. Stay tuned.

Ya gotta love how there is no communication whatsoever to the workforce in SR, we are left to speculate as to what is really happening and when.
@OP furniture was moved out. Maybe it was just relocated?
What’s the next workplace for those few remaining in SR? Had heard somewhere else at Bishop Ranch. And, no, WFH is not an option (from what my mgr said).

Over a year ago there were random people being escorted around the SR office; I later came to find out they were touring the office space for leasing opportunities. When the HQ moved was announced only one comment was said with clarity, the SR office space would shrink and either be moved entirely or be broken up from its current state. The reality is there should only be a small population left in SR unless leadership doesn't follow through with the forced moved to Houston. If you think CVX "designed" that space for its employees, think again...that space is ripe for another tenant. Keep in mind, that lease was only good for 5 years.
