Just curious if any group in Aerospace is using AI tools? Are you accepting the rollout or rebelling against it? Are you finding it productive to your job?

Excel's solver produces more valuable AI/ML. But language models are useful to rewrite my emails to sound .. professional.
What AI tools? I only have access to M365 Copilot (not great) and an open source model (that involves copy and paste).
This company is so damn behind.
Everything is Excel or Tableau nonsense anyway.

The AI rollout is led by teams in low cost regions with insufficient budgets and too many lawyers involved. The vision is completely driven by what we are NOT allowed to do with neither resources or energy put into what might be done.
Combine that “lawyer first” engineering approach with the ghost of IT where every technology requires 100 tickets to deploy and 90 of those tickets will be done wrong … creating any new technology service is basically impossible at the moment.
Even if the AI team managed to roll something out we could not log into it because of fundamentally broken identity management stopping work everywhere. Honestly I miss multiple meetings a week because I just can’t log in … ditto with rejected access to share folders. WTF
yes of course. We use it to design products to beat Honeywells. We are being put into designs pushing yours out. RTX, LH, Boeing hate working with you. Its a known fact that you cant keep up with demand and the products are subpar.
