Thread regarding Kroger Co. layoffs

Associate Insight Survey

Do you all feel comfortable answering these questions honestly? It feels like we could just be giving them ammunition in their quest to eliminate some of us.

I Skipped it this year. By far the worst couple years with this round of leadership. It doesn’t matter what you put in the survey. Until the vps are gone, it won’t matter. We’re still waiting on results from the survey 2 years ago. When they don’t like the results they just send a new survey.

I honestly don't know why anyone would work for this company. I worked at 8451 and it was by far the worst experience. Any feedback provided was never acted upon. The CEO is a foul mouthed person whose sole job was to say he didn't know what the eff he was doing anyway. The whole company would be consumed by Walmart and Aldi.

Been here 15 years and not once have they done anything about the feedback on the surveys. They always create these committees and they ignore the real issues such as pay and culture which are always the worst rated questions. Historically, I've always been very honest and usually Kroger scored high, but over the last 3 years I'm absolutely sick of it. This year I was nearly extremely dissatisfied in all categories. The information is definitely not anonymous as you have to log in to take the survey. I sincerely hope they use it to fire me. The worst thing that can happen is I will get my severance and I will make 25% more elsewhere

I'm sure they know it will be ugly...I was very honest.

I was honest. I did have that feeling in the back of my mind though. I don't care if they lay me off, so I don't care about giving them ammo. But if my honestly about why we're all unhappy and why morale is so low, along with others saying the same thing, could have the smallest effect to make conditions better, I feel its worth a shot.

Its funny because layoffs followed the survey last year!

I chose to be honest on my survey. They eliminated plenty of people who were positive on their 2025 insight survey so I do not think it was a metric used during lay offs.
