Thread regarding Nokia Corp. layoffs

Did the TAO Leader threaten an employee during her talk at Bengaluru Location about terminating his job? What action with Board & CEO take?

Why is the TAO leader (P. M.) threatening an employee about his job security in front of hundreds of employees during her talk in Bengaluru? Why has the Board of Directors and CEO not taken any serious action? Are leaders at that level not accountable for their words and actions? What happened to Nokia being an Ethical Company? How do you think the employee who was being threatened felt after being embarrassed in front of hundreds of employees? Does she think this is a joking matter? What type of damage does this do to Nokia (brand, investors, customers, future contracts (gov't and commercial), employees, etc)? Should leadership be just as ACCOUNTABLE as any other employee?

It's the same mentality as US gov leadership - lies, suppression of criticism, autocratic tendencies and surrounding themselves with yes-men and corruption.
Just look at people reporting to P. - like the bald guy OS and his ridiculous push of "d-mb radios" - that bloke doesn't have basic understanding of physics and yet tries to push his stupid ideas because he cannot fit GPU in the radio.
Everyone in MN leadership (now MI) is scared shitless so no one is challenging them, hoping they can keep their cozy jobs for some more time.
...and for corruption - just look how they are walking on a leash of our new owner despite new company AI-hypercycle-blabla strategy makes zero sense and will bring Nokia down because no one will buy those underpowered sh---y GPU products...

@186 I asked for further explanation of what the last comment meant in regards to Nokia's CEO and TAIO:
Rejection of Opposing Views: The author claims that Hotard and Mahajan do not tolerate internal disagreement. Corporate value slogans like being "open," "fearless," or "empowered" are only supported if employees completely agree with leadership.
Silencing Debate: The critic alleges that these leaders actively shut down conversations and debates, previously on internal online forums and now during face-to-face or in-person workplace interactions.
Stifling Research Innovation: The critique highlights a conflict with the nature of Nokia Research Labs, which falls under Mahajan's TAO division. The author notes that silencing dissent is damaging to a research environment, where exploring opposing ideas is necessary to vet and find new technology.
"Autocratic" and "DC" Reference: The writer labels their style as autocratic (ruling with absolute power). The mention of how this is "working out in DC" serves as a political comparison, implying that top-down, rigid leadership styles lead to poor long-term organizational health.

The TA0 leader and the ce0 seem to not like to hear dissent or an opposing view. Open/fearless and empowered only works for them if you are strongly agreeing with their every utterances. Have seen them shut convos down on online forums and now in person, I guess. Not a good look for a person in charge of research, where having opposing views is part of the vetting/search for new ideas. They apparently are in to autocratic leadership, and we see how that is working out in DC.

I have not heard or witnessed the incident. But is very unprofessional for that level of executive! I was not impressed with her hiring. It’s just who you know type setup going on for last 12 months. This company is losing the best Ethical Company practices. Very unfortunate with all new leadership.
