Rockwell came in 68th out of 75, right behind Subway - Congratulations Blake, that's what happens when you put yourself first and treat your employees worse than a sandwich shop.

@sn I joined as an experienced hire. Raises are not good, period, even with Exceeds Expectations. Promotions are difficult to come by. This is the same as other large companies.
RA has a lot of great people and good jobs but there are too many “company men/women” that are too trusting of the system. I’m Director level and whoever thinks managers/directors/VPs aren’t crazy busy are kidding themselves. Some of the work can certainly be a waste of time but part of our job is to filter out the garbage so the ICs can focus on getting real work done.
People should be job searching and applying at least every 1-3 years to ensure they are being compensated at fair market value. If you stay too long and aren’t getting promoted to where you want to be your career will stagnate and every year it will get harder to find a good role elsewhere.
@ph we enjoy the open market. If we believe that we are worth more $$ somewhere else, we should persue those opportunities. There is no law that requires you to stay with any company. Move.
Not surprising since they just ignore employee feedback, continue making profits forecasts with very little raises for their employees and then when people leave and say its cause of pay they just say whatever while they hire middle managers - directors - vp's that just sit in powerpoint meetings all day making 3x what their people reporting to them make but they do Zero work.

I don’t think my experience at RA is bad by any means, but I do think we should be doing better on these kinds of rankings
