Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

When will it stop?

Every time someone leaves, their work gets dumped on the rest of us. I'm currently getting pulled in a dozen directions, supporting people I don't even know, and my boss acts like everything is fine, business as usual. I know I should be grateful to be employed, but this is taking a serious toll on my mental health.

Some people are suggesting to #cancel #citi cards like Costco and other travel cards. Whoever is cancelling the cards and closing the accounts should make sure to provide the feedback while closing the accounts.

@kj

Citi is telling you to dig your own grave by training your replacements or competitors.

DoNOT do it ! In fact Sabotage and Fvck Up the work.

You see that Citi has been slowly but surely Laying Off your employees and your world is shrinking.

Read the writing on the walls....YOU'RE NEXT.

The last 3 years in my team has been brutal with ongoing layoffs and also shifting those same jobs overseas. I am asked to train them as well which I am not going to do because they most likely will take my job. Btw all the f ups are starting in their end. They don’t have the communication skills like Americans and now some jobs are coming back to the US.

According to C U Next Tuesday Jane and her gaggle of EMT flying monkeys, the beatings will contunue until morale improves.

They are firing to hire again. They are hiring their favorite candidates and also in offshore locations. That's how it works. Very sad to witness all this nonsense. Citi fires "Citi"Zens.

Fewer people, less work to do. Most people in our NY/Tampa/London/Dublin biz create more work than they resolve - a sign of a bloated overstaffing, top heavy at that.

It's unsustainable. I'm a Manager and have now started to pick up work for my team as we are so understaffed and my requests for headcount are dragging on for months.
