As a USA person laid off last April, COBRA offered an interesting choice - should I pay a LOT of money to stay with United Health Care (by FAR the worst health insurance I've ever had), or pay less for a better plan on the ACA market?
It was a tough decision, but eventually I went with a better, cheaper plan.
In the USA, check pricing on exchange (Obamacare) plans, COBRA usually is the most expensive insurance you can buy. Read the fine print carefully on exchange plans to ensure your docs and dr-gs are covered.
If you have Kaiser, see if you can switch to direct.

@OP If you have your 2025 w-2, box 12d with code DD shows the employer's cost for health insurance coverage. Divide that number by the number of months you worked at OT in 2025 to get monthly cost. Add a 2% fee they are allowed to charge. That should get you close.
