Of all the layoffs that I survived here, I think these are the worst managed ones. Do you agree?
Massive damage
Sabre will never be the same again because this is a huge loss of institutional knowledge for this company. I think the damage done by these layoffs is irreparable…… I don't think the leaders gave enough thought to the fact that damage is easy... — read more
I'm not handling this well
I was laid off yesterday. I feel completely overwhelmed and I can't concentrate on anything. All I keep thinking about is the layoff and if there's anything I could have done differently to keep my job. If you were in a similar position, how did you... — read more
Our manager didn't say anything about it being over
How worried should we be?
This is a start of series of disastrous moves by Sabre
I am one of the victims of layoff. From the onset of my job, I could see exactly what was going wrong, and it was shared multiple times. Old timers and old thinking will not solve Sabre's problems. Neither is cutting people who could make impact... — read more

Any news on EU layoffs?
If EU employees don't get an email today, are safe?
Manager was let go and didn’t bother to check on “his” team afterwards
Did anyone else run into this? He wasn’t a good manager, but even I was surprised that he would be this cowardly. He did more harm than good in his tenure here. I knew he’d be gone, but he didn’t care enough to check on those that reported to him. — read more
Leave immediately or…?
I'm interested in whether those who got laid off have to leave immediately or not? Someone already asked this question but there was no answer.
What teams were affected? GDS? Airline? JetBlue Team? AA Team? etc
Details please-Airline? GDS? What teams?
No email, no layoff
I understand that if I didn't get THE email I'm safe, but I also know that emails were not all sent at the same time. Does this apply if my team was already hit? Or can the rest of us still get the email? Is there any way to know when all the emails... — read more

Incredible Losses Today
I know many folks, incredible talent, who were cut today. This will impact Sabre long term and I do not think we'll be able to recover from this.
People in great uncertainty
The company once again proves how little it cares about its employees, who right now are very concerned about whether they will lose their jobs or not. Couldn't they have at least managed these layoffs a little better so we're not feeling so much... — read more

Does this mean the US will be impacted on Monday as well?
I haven't been here for long, so I'm not sure how layoffs work at Sabre. Does it all take place at once, across all regions, or is it gradual and it will take a few days or even weeks before the US is hit? I have to admit, I wish I didn't check this... — read more

Sabre has about 4000 contractors but few will be cut
Most will not be touched. Reason being is they want to save $200m in 2024 by cutting employees. Then when critical initiatives are completed they will cut most contractors by end of. 2024 saving another $200m in 2025.
