How can we know if we're safe?

North American Layoffs today at Seagate

I was laid off today. $200M in layoffs is what the package says. Good luck Seagaters.... Severance package was the same as October and March layoffs. Fairly generous if you have any time in. Minimum of 4 weeks.

I see the list slowly growing but not a lot of chatter. We still think the bulk of layoff is today?

The dreaded 22 is here..

Let’s see what happens and how many go. The story already started with the sales and Marketing announcements … Interesting to see where things go from here … I am sure to retire tomorrow :)

Seagate layoff continues till 2025

Found out seagate layoff will continue till 2025, building to be released, low demand, crunching manpower to its lowest, affected department to merge, affecting seagate around the world. The situation is very bad worse than 2018 economic downturn.

Are we safe tomorrow?

I'm going to assume there'll be no layoffs tomorrow since both Monday and Friday are usually not layoffs days. What I am wondering, though, is whether that means that the layoffs will continue next week? If that's true, I'm not looking forward to... — read more
