Been here 15 years and the last few years have been next-level dysfunction. Constant reorgs, zero communication, and whiplash "priorities" that change weekly. New hires think this chaos is normal, that's how long this circus has been running. At this... — read more
If I ran State Farm I would…
Finish the sentence “ If I ran State Farm I would…” Here is my completed sentence. If I ran State Farm I would end agency. I would cut layer upon layer of deadbeat useless management. State Farm needs to get lean and shed all the deadwood. 12th... — read more
Moving to Hubs
When will section managers be made to move to a hub? Some are already there and going into the offices. How can the company expect to get everything moved to the hubs when they don't even have the section managers there yet. Wonder if they will be... — read more
Future State was beginning of the end

Enterprise Technology Layoffs
I am hearing rumors that ET will be going into a new transition plan. Is anyone hearing about potential layoffs under this new leadership?
The Exec briefing was a clown show!
That was the worst Exec briefing that I have ever sat through. A few less brain cells after that one! JF, CS and KS are complete and useless reta-ds! Delusional! That was embarrassing to see JF up there! Fat arsss, pants too tight, shirt too... — read more
Looks like a voluntary round would be a big hit
So many folks seem to want to be laid off. So why not have a voluntary round? It's a win-win. People who want severance can get it, and people who want to stay don't have to worry about being cut. I'm among those who'd jump at the opportunity to... — read more
More layoffs in April
Anybody knows more about this?
Can’t beat them, join them!!
Just accepted a position with Progressive. It’s good to be on top!
Remember when.....
Does anyone remember when the rallying cry was Warren Buffet and Geico was going to pass us as the #1 auto insurer. Remember when F-ckta-d MT used that excuse to close all the offices, implement EOM, clean house in claims, disastrous hubs, all the... — read more
Finally!!
Justice to many.
RETIREMENT
Why not offer early full retirement and get all the old timers with the higher salaries off the books? Then replace those folks in the hubs. Instead of doing right by the employees SF has a bad reputation of sc--wing its employees. They instead... — read more
Here is something fun to think about!
We are demonstrating some of our system tools to offshore replacements, and a week or two later being told to give them ADMIN access. This should be fun to watch!
Same old force people out tactics
SF now placing more and more on tms in an apparent move to force them out. Will Sm's be made to move to hubs this year? SF is attempting to force out tm's and employees that are remote so they can replace in hubs without offering severence. My one... — read more
In Office changes
TM came back from meeting. PTO during in Office weeks will be tracked so employee will need to make up the any in Office days missed. Basically no more using PTO to avoid coming into the office.
EIP/MIP
Nope! The checkbook goes to the customers in the south with tornados first! If customers aren't taken care of and huge MIP/EIP given, media will pursue. California was just a snack before the meal.
Bad apples spoiling a bunch?
The writing is on the wall with the hybrid changes coming.
Wow.....

I can't stand this horrible place!
I know it has been said a million times on here but I hate this place! Been here too long to leave and just trying to survive each day. It's hard to believe SF could become any more toxic but it has. Upper leadership is just the bottom of the... — read more
ET waste land
I've worked at SF in ET for 15+ years and this is the worst it has ever been. No one is engaged. Everyone is checked out just doing the minimum to get by. I know my team output has probably dropped 50-60% over the last couple of years. We don't care... — read more

Can a large percentage of class be fired?
Currently working in underwriting. My class has failed observations a few times and on our final attempt. Can the company fire everyone who didn't pass on the last attempt? Over half the class failed.
DOGE should come to SF next
How much waste and inefficiency is there that are baked into the premiums?
How you can tell.....
How you can tell any company has problems is when it gets so big that leadership cannot get out from behind their desk and computer to personally visit and see their subordinates. It raises the question: What are they hiding? Can't say they don't... — read more

Hybrid Going away?
So I’m newly moved to a hub and have now spent a little over a year and a half going into the office one week a month. To me it’s terrible. Desks rarely operate at 100% (monitors, keyboards gone, CPU missing) and it is incredibly frustrating after... — read more

The Great Rating ripoff
The title says it all. It appears they’re making up for the increase in salary in 24 by reducing ratings to deserving hard working employees. #getwhatyoupayfor

2024 Underwriting losses ?
So far for the years 2022 and 2023 they have lost $28 BILLION in losses. I bet it will be the same for 2024……as a few days remain this year…..that would equal $42 BILLION which would fund a war against China. Failed executive leadership
How long has it been since the last major layoff?
I'm starting to worry we are in the "calm before the storm" period.
