Ever since….

Joining management, I haven’t felt the need to come on this site. Maybe you all should just… idk… grow up and come drink the Koolaid. It’s hot outside.

This is Awesome! Sounds exactly like SF!

They all drink the same Kool Aid and scheme together! Good for their employees! Exactly like State Farm! https://insurancenewsnet.com/innarticle/nationwide-adjusters-make-6-demands-to-rectify-overwork-concerns

Company reputation

I am ashamed to say that I still work here. How did leaders manage to destroy the company's reputation like this? Unbelievable.

Thoughts on the push for short cubicle walls?

Our location is going through and effort to consolidate use of office space. I get that, but at the same time all the spaces they are creating have the short cubicle walls. Going into office creates enough distraction why make it worse with the short... — read more

Lets see there was a record breaking 13.2 billion underwriting loss for 2022 and has the amount of his bonus check been revealed ?

No more pension! Get ready!

One reason State Farm is doing soooo much hiring and is about to be overstaffed, is they are going to freeze the pension for pension eligible employees. People already receiving benefits will be fine for now. I know it has been mentioned a lot as... — read more

Emperors New Clothes

Problem with current leadership micro management is that it breeds discontent and disloyalty. Therefore, numbers are artificially inflated at the frontlines by TMs to appease headquarters. Its a complete cluster. Current leadership has lost the... — read more

Covid Officially Over

With Covid over, what’s the future of hybrid work? Do you all think they will try to get people in the offices more than what they are now? Also the job market seems to be shifting a bit. What does 2024 hold for us?

Shorter staying time

Perhaps I'm wrong but my impression is that the new employees never stayed here for a shorter time. What a colossal waste of resources by the company! What's the shortest time you know someone has stayed here?

Agent team members

Are agents just not training new team members anymore? I work in SFPP and the number of calls we’ve gotten from people whose aliases start with VAD and VAE who don’t have the slightest clue how to do their jobs have increased exponentially. — read more

What IS this site???

The site name implies that it is about LAYOFFS. Maybe they should change it ???? Nothing but Moanin', Groanin', Complainin' goin on here......

What infrastructure was outsourced to HCL?

I am retired from SF, but have multiple insurance policies with SF; home, auto, umbrella, etc., and investments; IRS, Mutual Funds, etc.. If any of the infrastructure jobs I had were outsourced, I would probably move everything to more competitive... — read more

Yearly bonuses

I heard a rumor that they’re getting rid of the yearly bonuses. Has anyone else heard this or know if there’s truth to it?

Full office return

Don’t be surprised when it happens. Work ethic of the majority of the new generation ruining it for everyone.

Punished for using PTO

On my last one on one, my TM advised I didn’t take as many calls as the rest of my team during the last few months and that I was falling behind. I explained that I was off on PTO for a few weeks in January so I would not have the same amount of... — read more

Want improvements? Make better use of our time

Is anybody else tired of being forced to sit and watch horribly done and nonsensical PowerPoint presentations when they could be doing something actually useful with their time? I swear, I lose at least five hours a week (and that's the bare minimum)... — read more

Mifi’s

A friend of mine who is in estimatics (he doesnt do physical inspections) told me the company took away his mifi and told him he would have to use his own home wireless internet service that he pays for to conduct SF business. Now how cheap is that ?... — read more

Is it true?

Is it true that CEO must retire at age 65?

Ed Rust

You know Ed Rust……I love that man, things would be so different if he was still CEO

Accepting a worse offer

I'm still here only because I can't get a better offer but I'm rather picky when it comes to accepting new work. However, isn't it surprising how many people accept even a lower paying job just so that they are no longer here?

Marketing Cuts

How many have been cut from Marketing? I am so sorry for anyone being cut. Prayers to everyone losing their jobs.

Are you too trying to stay under the radar?

It doesn't surprise me that most of us here are surviving by doing so. That's completely understandable. However, in this way the employees cannot realize their full potential and in fact waste time during which their talent would be more visible... — read more

3 pet evaluations

SF has used a third party software program to evaluate 3rd party aka claimant injury values for a long time. Even when suits get filed they still rely on this over their injury attorneys. These lawyers are paid a simple flat fee to handle the suit... — read more

How many have quit since January 2023?

Does State Farm still have the highest turnover rate in the United States? Looking at the majority of posts on this page, it looks like State Farm is still one of the worst places to work in the country. Have enough people quit to the point State... — read more

Employees Beware

Things they are hiding. Recently marketing cut several employees. I know this isn’t a surprise to anyone reading this, but now marketing is posting to replace these folks. Even before they have an end date. If you’re a pensioned employee you are... — read more

Former LOC Employees

How secure are the fully remote employees who are former LOC employees. How long until they are laid off as we staff up in the hubs? Thoughts?

Deceitful strategy. Execs gain

People are no longer afraid

I think it's funny that mgmt is still trying to manage by fear. They are completely detached from reality. How can they not see that people are no longer afraid for their jobs here because everyone already knows that the grass is greener outside?

Corporate Jets?

Can we track them online? What's the name of our corporate jet / corporate airplane ???
