Give yourself a raise if you haven't already done so

I was a SF policyholder ever since I started driving. A few years ago I started a new job at the Farm in a new department and let's just say it required me to work with some ethically challenged individuals. A few months later I received my first... — read more

How many people here are considering quitting?

I'm just wondering, I know for a fact I'm not the only one. I'm just curious if the number is as high as I assume or if people have a much higher threshold of how much they can take then I give them credit for. I'm not asking who will quit, just who... — read more

EIP payment with opt out?

I haven't seen an answer to this yet. SFNet is void of 2018 EIP info. Previously it looked like you would get the equivalent of a 100% EIP payout prorated to your QTD date. I'm sure they are trying to change the rules to avoid a payout to everyone... — read more

Notice the new External email

Anyone else notice the new external heading when a email comes in? Just heard it is so that people with QTD dates can no longer send emails to an address outside of State Farm. Like any company in their right minds would want to do what we are doing.

I think they can change how the benefit amount is calculated, but can the pension be eliminated. What could happen if someone is already receiving their pension benefit; could it be reduced?

Time to evaluate what is going on

OK, so L&D is going down by 80%, and they are the ones who facilitate training for all employees (think high churn in the hubs), which appears to be the same % Ad services is going down. Proximity is going down +/- 38%, and they're the ones directly... — read more

Armed guards spin

So, apparently State Farm placed armed guards at its major hubs to conform to industry standards, not out of fear of retribution for layoffs that have been happening non stop for the past several months. I'm just confused, why exactly did the company... — read more
