10% of staff cut - closer to 20% in Sales. No investment recently except in AI tools that aren't selling as Qlik can't build as fast as the dedicated players, and lacks sales with the skills or contacts to sell the new offerings. Existing Customers don't want to know as they are still waiting for the basic features they were promised years ago.
After losing some of Qlik's biggest customers (Ikea, NSW Health) in the last year or two, you would think there would be a focus on trying to maintain the base, but there's no investment in the products that generate the most revenue.
When Thoma Bravo forced Qlik to buy Talend (who were running at a loss), it ate up all the money that should have been spent on existing products. It seems fairly clear that the goal now is just to slash costs and have Qlik be acquired so Thoma Bravo can cash out. At no time have customers or employees been front of mind.
