What are your opinions when this releases and what will be its impact on cybersecurity in T?

@b8 I’m so glad someone finally mentioned what I believe is the inevitable AI bubble burst. Companies are running at this with reckless abandon while investing massive amounts of money into the POTENTIAL for AI. What we learn from history is that this ends 1 way—a burst because much of the potential was the result of scared executives with wishful thinking who were afraid of being left behind. This is followed by a cooling period where the unsustainable & rapid pace of change slows significantly while the new technology settles into its long-term place in our society.
The Internet is a great example of this. Too many companies & startups pushed it too far too fast. A few of those (Amazon, for example) worked out. Most did not. The reason why is very simple. Their plan was to financially harness it and race to the top to carve out the biggest piece of the pie before others got their first. However, because the bandwagon was so huge, supply outstripped demand, and our society’s capacity to accommodate all the new “solutions” was far from sufficient.
So then you had the burst, where so many on the bandwagon ran out of financial runway or chose the wrong ideas to pursue. With this bursting came a harsh realization of what the internet was suited for, and for what it wasn’t suited. Things calmed down for a while, but the technology continued to morph into what it is today. It’s a huge part of our lives, but we see it clearly now for what it is and where it fits.
AI will be similar, I believe. It cannot fulfill all the absurd hopes & dreams of the giddy, wide-eyed wishful thinkers currently attempting to violently shove it down our throats.
TLDR: AI is presently a sports car going 100 mph down a well-paved hill with no other cars around & clear horizon. That hill will end, & the sports car will then face a very narrow, single lane, winding, unpaved mountain path with no night time lights, no guardrails, and boulders perched precariously above. It will have to slow down.

Layoffs at other companies in cybersecurity are ramping up big time so.
@ce why fix the attendance reporting? It's working EXACTLY like it was designed and it was NEVER about accuracy.
I predict CSO will have layoffs claiming to replace people with it, but still be hacked.
@b8 this marketing gimmick works precisely because it targets stupid people.
We already have it. There are reports coming to app owners very soon.
AT&T has already been hacked and most of our data including calls and texts are being harvested by the Chinese govt, but nobody wants to hear about that.
Maybe it can figure out how to fix the presence reporting system.
Not just T but everything-we're all doomed, cyber security services are not ready for what's coming

Don't buy this mythos hype , this so nothing more than marketing spin to try and bump up IPO valulatios for Anthropic. Didn't OpenAi do something similar with its new model saying it "broke out " and hacked hugging face ... Folks these are all planned deliberate marketing tactics, to stir fomo, as both companies are trying to get IPO before the AI bubble pops.
Thank goodness for Claude! It’s really the only way T is going to be able to prevent additional data breaches.
Our bozos executives won’t want to pay for it so hopefully we get hacked by someone using it.
