I'm giving a serious response.
Looking at job postings (e.g. on LinkedIn search for Java Software Engineer) there is a lot of Java with Springboot and Postgres (or MySQL), REST and micro services. Java is probably expected to be 8+, but some postings specifically ask for newer versions. Add-ons can include a messaging service, and distributed systems stuff. The software makes more use of Cloud services for scaling etc. I guess SQL is implied because databases are specified.
AWS services / Azure services and stuff like Docker, Kubernetes, Redis. Apache Kafka.
Occasionally, JVM profiling knowledge is required.
@k7 that's just stupid. top severe vulnerabilities through decades are SQL injection and memory overflow - the first is universal and has nothing to do with tech stack, and second cannot even happen in Java

Nobody really knows what to evaluate in candidates right now.
Always true: hiring side looks for people they would be okay to hang out with or who would not challenge them in meetings. Interview processes are just looking for bias confirmation. If the bias is to reject, the interviewer uses their strengths to poke the candidate's knowledge for weaknesses to document. If you know tech, you know tech. It doesn't matter what tools, languages, or framework are used.
Language experience is mostly BS. Unless it’s hardcore C++ or fortran etc. More importantly are the frameworks and tools. If they need a react guy they need a react guy. If they need someone skilled in tuning SQL, thats what they need. If they need someone who knows how to build microservices then it doesnt matter if its Java or Python etc.
The key thing for any job are flexibility and critical thinking. If your resume is lacking non-Java skills then go develop and iOS app in swift or something. You have AI tools now.
