Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Headline : Ethical Concern WCIB Technology

Everyone is debating GCC and pointing fingers at India or coining terms usb India.
Surprised no one is talking about what could be the real governance question.
For example, Masud Amd, Head of AI under WCIB reporting to Qasim Khan(Chicago hub) and S Sheikh, Head of AI under Digital reporting to PM (Chicago hub) are reportedly husband and wife and both work in the Doc Intelligence space leading AI.
The real question isn’t where anyone is from—it’s whether appropriate conflict-of-interest disclosures, governance, and ethical safeguards are in place. How does the Ethics Office ensure that situations like this are reviewed and managed transparently? Are the same standards applied consistently across all employees, regardless of role or seniority?
The management of WCIB Technology under QM Khan was consistently perceived as biased inclusive Gender, Race, and Ethnicity

Another Head of AI under Paul’s org? Bold strategy. At this point the bank has more Heads of AI than actual working AI use cases that aren’t PowerPoint decks.

Governance and conflict-of-interest reviews? Cute idea. We’ll get right on that… right after we invent three more “Head of AI Something” titles so every senior leader can claim they’re driving the future.

Same story, different org chart. Peak innovation.

QK was literally just named in another thread for gender and racial discrimination against employees in a lawsuit. Why does USB insist on keeping all of these bad people managers who constantly expose the bank to reputational and financial harm? There's an underlying pattern here of certain managerial types who constantly cause the bank to be sued and yet they continue to remain employed here, costing the company millions in settlement and/or punitive and compensatory damages. Fire the criminally inept people and replace them with competent and ethical managers!

Not only this but Qasim is breaking Minnesota employment law with regards to medical leave / employee usage of SSL time, by making lists of employee usage thus discouraging & intimidating against its lawful use. Hecs breaking the law. Since he's a foreign invader laws & merit mean nothing to him.

When I quit (not if, when) I am reporting him & U.S. Bank to the state, with reciepts.

All of this is happening right under Dilip’s nose with zero real accountability. Ethics is a complete joke here.
