How are the beauty departments doing?

As a former beauty merchandiser that left a few weeks after my position was eliminated. I wouldn’t go back even if they paid $$. I loved my job and did it exceptionally well.
But the policies and politics at my old location now go above and are too much. But I think that is all stores.
HQ eliminated that position to “save money” and make the ~shareholders happy but it’s costing them thousands in sales… if not more.
HQ if you’re reading this- it was a 40+ hour position that you outright CUT. And made associates and beauty leads do. What are they doing? Sitting down with customers informaing them of products… not building x table or y display.
STUPID move on HQ’s part
They made their bed and now can lay in it… good riddance …. That’s what happens when you put PROFIT over PEOPLE.
I’ve heard a rumor that it’ll be back but only as a seasonal position 🙄 beauty has been falling apart in some stores from the change.
