... Folks at work should be smiling ear to ear, yet morale is in the cr-pper. Doesn't someone go hey, is this what 1+1=3 really mean...?

Just got a 3D printer? How much do you need?
May be they are preparing to buy BP?
If you are printing anything it will show up on the dashboard and your supervisor or someone from the BTC will send a nasty email to a VP calling you out for wasting company resources. The printers are for executive use only.
Only people who are happy are the fu--ing executives. Fu-k them all.
I am RE, and every employee that I walk past on campus that appears to be over 40 looks at me like I am a competitor or even a threat. Seems to be getting worse over the past 3 weeks.
The culture on campus is more toxic than ever.
People seem to be very worried about their rankings and PIP layoff system.
Interactions seem awkward. Most are very protective of their ideas.
Laughable moment last week when I read an email from a coworker about why he chose to configure the new process area a certain way, which was my idea, but now he is claiming it.
The vast majority of employees have no RSUs, or very little that vest on an absurd timeline. Raises are nearly nonexistent and PIPs / offshoring continues every year. Point is the average employee has no stake in how well the company is doing so why should they care?
XOM survives and makes money off blood ,whether it’s the blood of people in wars or the blood of its own employees sacrificed to the ranking system. It’s not a company built on real research, innovation, or cutting‑edge technology. Profit comes from politics, not brilliance. So why pretend we’re “the best of the best”? Who is that lie even for? People join because of the shiny brand and the base salary, not because Exxon is some beacon of excellence.
No we're not....we're a paperless environment remember 😄
