When insecure people get promoted, they become bullies. That's the environment we're living in now.

Workplace bullies don't survive on their own, leadership keeps them on life support and their ego does the rest, convincing them they're bulletproof. They game the system, freeze people out, and shower their favorites, until the whole floor runs on fear and the fix. Trust? Gone. Fairness? Never had it and everybody knows the game is rigged.
