Many members of my (former as I have been laid off in this wave) have unscheduled :30 1x1s with the boss today. I think that this is the first time I’ve seen the layoffs for a week continue into Tuesday.

I'm not aware of any products that compete against Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault, Veeam, Veritas.
I'm aware of Networker, Avamar, Piece-o'-Pooh Data Manager (PPDM), and Dying Domain (DD) but those don't compete.
Which product group are you referring to?
100 were impacted from Data Protection this week! So Brutal.
@OP How did the idrac team develop/val fare? Have tried to reach out to a number of ppl but no luck. Not sure of just away or gone and done as of Friday.
@aw Monday was a Canadian holiday. Some impacts could not be told till today.

I see some of those people being laid off from last week on linkedin. I know some of them started to update their linkedin page looking for a job. I see people giving advice to these newly laid off people. A lot of these advice givers have been out for more than a year. Wow. More than a year out of a job. Some are saying they are about out of money, saying they've applied to 100s of jobs etc. If you know these people, give them a call to just talk. I don't think giving life lessons on linkedin is too helpful. A few have been out for 2 years. The reality is really awful.
Still Friday. In larger cuts over the last few years, there’s been 1:1’s Monday through Wednesday. All had last days of Friday. Lately with cuts being smaller most meetings are on Monday.
Exit time is still Friday at end of business. Ordered the box for my laptop and won't look back...
