Are there jobs for JD Edwards ? Is it something worth investing time.

Been in JD Edwards product development for more than 30 years. Even if the product has been retired, life is good unlike layoffs in other teams as very few are left around. Perks of "working" on a legacy product.
Certainly a few who do "work" on the product are doing very well with grossly inflated titles.
HAHAHAHA!
@ev Until all features and compliance requirements are met (EU is ahead), this idea only remains an AI marketing dream to sell to investors, and for engineers to brag in GitHub and LinkedIn.
That said, all careers are going to change in the next 5 years for sure.
It is the era of vibe coding your ERP. Consulting for obsolete products does not sound great plan.
The skill is as precious as COBOL.
Don't bother with anything that you don't already know. Nobody has a clue even if they have a paycheck. AI top skills change every other day. Stay positive and wing it.
