Snacks at HQ?

I work in MN and I've really been dreading going back to the office.

Since I've been remote, I can have snacks as often as I want and keep them in a fridge under my desk. I'm not sure I can make it a few feet to the vending machine for some Oreos without passing out. Lumbering from my car to my desk every morning also makes me very tired.

Does anyone know if there are snacks like trail mix available between or at meetings? I am worried about how much energy I will use talking and putting shoes on.

Does anyone have advice on how I could get a reasonable accommodation to have 8 lunch breaks and an emotional support mini fridge?

Just have your cubicle arranged to be placed on the highest floor in the highest building of the complex and only take the stairs to the cafeteria on the first floor. Then take the stairs back up. You probably need exercise if you just sat around and snacked all the time in working from home - especially in the cold winter months. I remember the cafeteria had great trail nuts (mixed) to keep the hunger down in between meals. It was also a good hike up and down those stairs. Just ignore the affairs going on now that people are back in the office.

Just come in for an hour and then head back home, OP. Nobody’s clocking your hours once you get there.

Those popcorn vending carts you see in the car dealer waiting room would be so sweet and make the stale musty office area smell great. Which ERG budgets for this type of project?

I really enjoy seeing these types of posts. The less serious this site is, the less likely layoffs are imminent.

I feel your pain, since I returned to office, I noticed my waste bin has been removed. Has anyone figured out a way to dispose "fireball nips" I've become addicted to drinking during wfh hours? I'm worried someone may see me dropping them in the public waste bins.

Amazing you could come up with all that, with the boot jammed halfway down your esophagus. Kinda explains the ham-handed, third-grade approach to "humor", I suppose...
