Don't look now but in order to keep EBITDA in line, more and more layoffs in the future. The SPCX call painted a clear picture that subscriber base is just at the beginning of taking off like a rocket. 5 million to 10.3 in ONE YEAR ...

@cx SpaceX pre-IPO and early investors holding shares converted from preferred stock were first allowed to sell up to 20% of their eligible locked-up shares on 8/6 (today). Your post is fiction.
If SPCX going public was the storm clouds gathering, T-mobile selling fiber internet in AT&T turf is the first lightning strike. I have seen the splicing and installer vans. They crushed us in wireless and now they will crush us in fiber internet. The end is nigh for this company. It will not exist in its current form in 2030.
@cn "SPCX is being held back by shorts"
SPCX is not being held back by shorts. What is happening is that the folks that owned SPCX before it went public are limited to when they can sell their stock. So, when these dates are reached the original shareholders start unloading the stock which dilutes the total market.
Really bad news!!!!!!!!!!
@cr they are in talks to buy Verizon

@cn spcx stock is not being held back by short sellers, musk, trump, and the broader financial player manipulated the ipo price with a pump and dump scheme so the preferred ipo share holders could sell and leave the retail sellers holding the bag. You musk fanboys are too much
@cj Musk can simply buy T-Mo. Then he wins.
I hear they are in talks to buy Verizon also.
@as SPCX is being held back by shorts, when that breaks the thing will explode upward. That is way more than I can say for T and their attack on the older skilled workforce they laid off.
Starlink Monthly Plans in the US.
Residential - 100 Mbps $55
Residential - 200 Mbps $85
Residential - Max $130
AT&T Internet Air is $55 a month and gives you 90-300 Mbps. Fiber is clearly much faster. Capacity of Starlink is limited and will get worse if they sign up too many subscribers.
So the market segments for Starlink are rural areas, geeks and isolated people in big cities with no coverage. They can't sustain a 100% growth rate.
Starlink is global but they won't get nearly the monthly revenue per subscriber so that's their only market advantage. In the US, they'll need to deploy a land based network (which is what they say they are going to do but Elon is notorious for under delivering). It'll be a decade before they have nationwide coverage.
The big issue for T is whether Verizon gets out of their own way and fixes their execution issue. T-Mo has superior spectrum to the both of them
Stanky is building out a campus in Plano while Elon is building out a global satellite network.
Not helping the stock.
