@ae The whole Charlotte “hub” thing is so weird to me. It feels like it sprung up out of nowhere all of a sudden. And correct me if I’m wrong but Baich isn’t one that usually stays with one company for an extended period of time so what happens when he leaves?
Realistically, Legg isn’t setting RTO policy — he’s following Stankey’s lead. The bigger move is offshoring wherever they can and redirecting the savings into “AI”. Headcount cost goes down, margins go up, and executive comp tracks right alongside it.
Which tells you where we sit in the hierarchy. Not much of a reason to stay loyal past the point where it serves us. Once hiring picks back up, I think a lot of people should be looking.

Legg doesn't care about hubs and exceptions. A few months before he announced his hubs, he claimed in a town hall "nobody will be made to move to a hub, it will all handled via attrition." How quickly that lie changed. And more recently, he turned a blind eye in letting Baich invent Charlotte.
So why should anything in Canada surprise you?
