Hey all.
Anyone else get an email today saying they were "randomly selected" (one of 5000) to take this "GPTW" survey? Perhaps not so coincidentally, it's arriving on 8/14 and is due to be completed 8/28. They say it's "voluntary" and "confidential," but we all know how that second thing goes. 😂 Any thoughts? Should I bother?
HR Compliance: Human resources departments use the survey to show senior leaders that they are "listening" to employees.
Fake Progress: Running a survey feels like action, but it does not require the company to fire powerful or high-earning hostile leaders.
Averaged Scores: A toxic department's bad score gets hidden when averaged out with happy teams in other departments.
The survey does not help the worker
@bk I don't think so. There's no way they thought this mess through, certainly not in some kind of "strategic" breadcrumbs for Centeamers
It's business as usual. And the execs have been working on job cuts for a while this year. Surely they knew who was not going to be around when they assigned everyone the compliance training...due in Oct.
@bj If you got the survey l would think you are in the clear. They would not send a survey out, have layoff notice next week and then expect someone to complete the survey the following week.
In my opinion, l think it is a good sign if you got the survey.
I didn't get it today. But, l got it a few years ago and did not get laid off backthen.
My PL mentioned afterwards that she selected me for the survey. I found it odd, because the survey said randomly selected.
They sent a survey a few years ago, right before layoffs. The people who were selected for survey, were not part of the layoff.
I am unsure if it is the same, this time around.
I am taking the VSP but did not get any such email lol
It's confidential if it's a good survey, not if it's bad.

@OP no, not yet anyway. GPTW is usually part of the Centene Pulse questions.
tldr: WORKDAY has a Centene Voice Dashboard link if we want to see a history of our previous rankings/comments
and "confidential"? lol! at the bottom of the Peakon Employee Voice survey, there's a link if we want to go look at all our previous surveys. lol!
If I can see my past surveys, then surely Centene can see my past surveys. NOTHING is truly confidential when I'm using their system resources.
btw, OP, apologies if I'm talking about a different survey. If I got the email, I would fill it out. shrug the bad ratings will be considered "disgruntled". haha!
