I came to BOA a few years ago from another big bank. Everyone I work with here seems to be vapid, boring and uncreative.

It's in the NDA I signed when I was hired. Had to release any sign of a personality immediately. I seem to remember on page 2 that I also had to sell my soul to someone.
WPE, no raise, no promotion, not investing in your employees. All still here are laughing there axx off on the inside just to not go insane. where are you looking? Stop looking at there lips, Look in their eyes. The comedy club full of comedians is right in front of you.
I have to say thanks BAC for the $250M in yearly investments in GLP1 dr-gs for your employees. The chairs will last a lot longer now.

management take themselves so seriously , the corporate climbers too. Find people who don’t identify with their work making large corporations richer and you’ll probably find some humor in that space
SLT and the ridiculous WPE policies are the reason.
Most are miserable here. If you aren't, you just might be a bootlicker.
Maybe it’s your personality.
Are you in IB, trading, Ops, Tech, Legal? It might help to know where you are. As a rule: the farther you get from the big money, the more interesting people will become. If you want a laugh with good people who also play in small bands at random bars on weekends, or something like that, then hang out with some admin assistants or similar type roles.
