Misrepresentation of Contributions to the Payroll Modernization Program Concerns Regarding Recognition and Project Ownership in the PAYMOD

The Walmart Payroll Modernization initiative began in 2018 and is currently advancing with its implementation across the U.S. workforce. Recently, new employees have started to be incorporated into the SAP payroll system, which was expected to be operational in 2023. However, David Glick and Sushanta Das, with the assistance of Akhil Gupta and Matthew Sowders, have hindered the business go-live for their personal gain following the technical launch. They are fully cognizant of their lack of contribution to this project. As a result, they created a Payroll integration engine platform, which is essentially another ETL tool, to take credit for the payroll program's business rollouts after three years. Presently, every Amazon leader, including Rao Grandhi, who has transitioned to Walmart and is participating in this payroll modernization effort, is recounting their success stories, even regarding minor population launches, as if they have played a crucial role in the program's achievements, seeking acknowledgment without any genuine contribution.

This situation is indeed disheartening and represents a misallocation of time and resources over the past three years.

@10h That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Unions su-k. Unions super su-k. There’s no benefit anymore to a union. It’s an unnecessary holdover from decades ago.

@OP Walmart being dishonest? ..... nooooooooo stop it, never, don't be ridiculous. No union for a reason people, biggest private employer in the U.S. and only the Department of Defense has more employees and that's not private. And guess what, your cops are union, your mailmen and women are union, your government is union. When you stay private you can get away with anything and job security is a magical land you just dream of. Walmart is full of a bunch of lying pigs disguised as loving, caring, genuine wholesome God fearing people.......LOL !!!! You know what, as d-mb as people are these days, can anyone blame them for getting rich and taking advantage of American citizens? .... Just be thankful all those other professions are union otherwise it would be total mayhem. Just imagine the cops without job security, or any other agency that you rely on day to day. Nobody would be willing to put their job or life on the line when they can get fired and sued for even thinking about helping you.

Well, there’s a new Captain in charge of the ship. 3Q just started and those guys are looking for things to boast about to close out 2Q and report to stock holders in a few weeks. Time for those big wigs to find a ho-n to toot.

It’s disingenuous as heck, but, don’t forget, those guys have bonuses on the line! Anything we can do to help them succeed and look good……
