Well looks like this is being expanded to personal lending. The email assured us this will not be used to evaluate individual performance. Sounds like complete BS to me. I’m in position where work isn’t always steady, comes in waves, one week slow, next one busy. I don’t think I like what this means for people like me.
Any experiences with this anyone would like to share?
@w8 right now these are at the OC+1 level. the activity numbers are part of a larger scorecard.
@vx what levels of managers receive these reports? i know the M3s and M4s in my group aren't getting them, at least not yet.

the type of tracking being done depends on what function you are in, but everyone is being activity-tracked.
There is a newly developed scorecard being rolled out company wide. the metric is "average number of hours active" and right now it's at the average/aggregate level for the leader's team for the month. It's shown separately for US and I&P. Draw your own conclusions
@fy They will just keep cutting people and adding their work onto your plate until you have no waves, only constant tsunami until you quit or die.
I just set up a stuffed dummy in my seat and have a prerecorded message that states "Jiminy Cricket, I am working might hard here" so I should be good
I would not be surprised if activity is monitored and it su-ks for those of us whose work comes in waves. Unfortunately for me, I am one of those people and they just gave me someone's job who left. Another full time job in addition to what I was doing. No additional pay. But I still have a job, so theres that.
