Heard WC got hit today. do we know if departments are notified all in one day? What exactly was the fallout

Wellcare Medicaid CM for both medical and BH were hit today.
Wc medicare sales ops hit today. Haven't heard of others yet. Of course the PLs say the rest of us are safe. My gut says more layoffs dec/jan.
With Medicare Sales being RIF'd and the focus shifting to retention, I'm guessing the departments directly supporting those areas will be impacted late 2026/early 2027. Who really knows?
I have heard that our department will not have RIFs until December after open enrollment. Pharmacy, clinical services.
