2 years to cut that anchor and i cant hold my breath that long.

@13p No we won't all drown the same, I left this incompetent company (after over 20 years) on the first day of their big "spinnoff". I'm not complaining all...I'm laughing because I'll tell you what to look forward to in their Q3 earnings call, more doom and gloom.
They are the laughing stock of the Aerospace and Defense industry, I know that many other businesses in the industry can't stand them. Their machinists SU-K. Their management wanted me to teach an employee how to machine, but they didn't know that this employee of 7 YEARS COULD NOT READ A DRAWING!! I told them NO right to their face and told them that I would have he-l fire rain down upon them if they didn't comply. They complied.
I didn't drink management's Kool-Aid, I threw it in their face.

You can complain all you want that it is somebody else's problem to fix. We will all drown just the same.

Employees won't bring up issues anymore, who wants to talk to a wall? Tons of empty promises made by "leaders" year after year will do this to people.
They created their own problems, let them fix their problems themselves...isn't that what they get paid the big bucks for?

@gh I think, at the right price, Garmin would be interested in HONA…get rid of a competitor, expand into engines, exposure to our big customers (Gulf, Dass, Boeing, etc), harness what technology they can get from HONA, etc….if the price is right…
Garmin is not interested in Honeywell aero.
Aero outsourced its way to irrelevance and failed to get the memo as rising stars like spacex insourced everything including the hard , heavy metal work.
Nothing can save aero now. The fix lies with suppliers which is another way of saying suppliers control Aeros destiny. Remember how aero treats suppliers.. we pay them .. eventually. How would you treat Honeywell as a supplier?

It's going to be hard but it is doable. The vast majority of employees know where the problems are, we've been dealing with them for years.
We need to prioritize and start fixing all of the issues we were forced to deal with. Many people stopped bringing them up because they felt like no one was listening. Let's prioritze and empower to turn things around.

@OP yes….been the same old song for decades….supplier issues…always looking for ‘better suppliers’…funny, our competitors don’t have these issues!
Also….notice Honeywell is holding their own, and investors forecast it is undervalued, as it is an AI/software company, and it shaved off its high cost, high liability aviation and defense divisions….
I wonder how advanced the talks with Garmin are…you know they are gonna make a play!
