Anyone have experience getting approved to work remotely to help a family member with medical issues? My mom lives with me and broke her hip a while back. She’s coming home from rehab soon and I need to work from home for a while to be safe. She’s fine with her walker so I don’t need to help her all day. With WPE changes, wondering if it’s even worth my time applying.

Drunk
I’m showing up to work at state street 3 sheets to the wind tommorow. I can’t take it anymore. There is no law when your on the claw
We need a weekly recovery break - and no, the weekend isn't enough
We'd need three days off in a row every week just to recover from the daily bullsh-t here. Maybe then management would actually have to do some of the work themselves.
How are you staying sane?
With all the never-ending stress, I had to turn to medicating myself to prevent my blood pressure from skyrocketing. Not much I can do about my mental state, though.
hope is hard
not seeing any light at end of this tunnel.
our fate is sealed by cr-ppy suppliers and a decade of lowest bid.
2 years to cut that anchor and i cant hold my breath that long.
whats the topline and bottomline gain by snatching away wellness week
Anyone with the the numbers?
Uuuuuuugh
I don’t wanna go to work today. It’s not enjoyable anymore.
It's sad but true - numerous people have committed su----es over the layoffs and the non stop lies over the last few years.
I will start by saying I dont advocate, like, support, or agree with su----e.
But I also want to say that in my 19 years at T-Mobile since covid, I have worked through management lying to us non stop. I've seen multiple people talked into staying at T-Mobile, told their positions were safe only to get laid off and immediately go home and end their lives.
It's not a pretty thing, but decisions like the ones t-mobile has made, have caused a lot of people to end it. I hope leaders understand that.
Remember this happened
For those who forgot we had a coworker die in the office and she was not discovered for several days. How many systems failed her? If you think you should give your life to this company remember that happened. Reinvest in your family and community.
Question: how long can one be out with mental issues?
I know of someone who has been out for many months due to mental issues. Isn’t there a limit to how long you can be out or can you be paid indefinitely for this? As a woman, I am fine with maternity leave but this seems subjective.
What to do before quitting?
I want to make sure I maximize all the benefits ford has to offer before I give notice. Use recognition points , wellness account reimbursement, etc.
What do you recommend doing? Any other tips before telling my boss?
Halp. Dreading tomorrow.

Long hot holiday weekend
Hope that everyone can get some rest and recoup regardless of where you find yourself on this carousel of chaos. For those enduring the terrible heat, be careful out there!
Even the Tough Love Guru. Seriously, who hurt you?
The burnout is real
I really don’t know how much longer I can put up with this. Looking but the job market is so bad right now. I can barely bring myself to the door to badge in. I can’t believe I actually used to like working here and felt energized by the work. This place has gotten so bad. Like trying to figure out if I can get some sort of disability claim and try to survive on that level if bad. Anyone have any suggestions on just making through the day?
just wondering
Is anyone else feeling super anxious after accepting the VSP? I know it's ultimately the best choice for my wellbeing, but the decision still feels incredibly stressful as the 7/2 deadline approaches. I'd love to hear from others navigating this!
Words of Encouragement
I sincerely feel for everyone at Centene who is feeling lost, unmotivated, angry, and downright exhausted. If you feel like this is not the company for you any longer, I want nothing more for you than to find somewhere you can thrive.
However, in the meantime you need to use your time wisely. I know It’s astoundingly difficult to put in the work when everything feels fleeting, but there is still time for you to utilize company resources that can benefit you greatly if let go.
Please take advantage of trainings, certification programs, company discounts, financial consulting discounts, and various other company resources while you still have access to them. Put yourself in the best position you can now in case you are let go whether that is voluntary or otherwise.
Your future self will thank you!
P.s. Much love to whoever completes my pseudonym in the comments ☮️
Gummies
I guess my night time gummies are day time gummies now.
Make it stop!
This has got to be one of the most mentally traumatizing experiences I have ever endured!
I feel anxiety in every section of my body.
VSP or No VSP.
Apply for VSP or Risk being laid off
Apply for VSP and wait another 23 days for the answer.
Maybe get the VSP or maybe not.
Keep working while you wait for a VSP answer OR while you wait to see if you’re laid off.
Meet your metrics.
Do your job as if nothing is happening in the background.

Anyone else got em? I think it's all gunna be okay, but can't help but to worry.
WAHAHRTG Copypasta Thread Request
I usually come on here for small bursts for mental health.
So we went from We are hiring and have returned to growth
To immediately calling the inbetween layoffs (that were valid) low skill.
To now saying it's only Sales, who have also had pretty high turnover.
You guys have strange lore over here. No that's magically stopping all the debt. Can yall at least collect the new ones for me? 🥺
How is everyone doing with the layoffs?
How are those of us here that got laid off / job eliminated / reduction in force / replaced by HIH / replaced by Indian substandard cheaper labor doing?
Have you all moved on or still bitter?

I am so tired of it all. No joy left in life.
The only healthy approach is to accept that layoffs are just a fact of life
Make peace with the fact you could lose your job at any moment. It's less draining than the constant roller coaster. And at the end of the day, no job is worth sacrificing your health, peace, or well-being.
Your health matters more than their bottom line
Anyone who says otherwise hasn't learned that lesson the hard way yet.
Your health profile IS YOUR DATA only not your Employer's
Do NOT go to the onsite Wellness centers for Annuals or any checkups.. if you do your health profile is exposed to the employer and will impact impact your employment if it is gets to be a high risk by age.
Go to your own doctor outside..
Sleepless Nigts
Just woke up in the middle of the night. Feel aweful. Was having. Dream about fighting a bully who was kicking me in the nuts.
You can't have it both ways
All the wellness messaging in the world doesn't mean much when people are stressed about possible layoffs. Nothing says healthy workplace culture quite like anxiety, rumors, and employees wondering if they are on the next list.
How does everyone deal with the sheer exhaustion of FIS?
The fatigue is so difficult to manage. The constant shocking twists and turns. How does everyone manage?
wellness center is so offensive
all of the “It’s okay to not be okay, you’ve got a team who cares” emails…Pick a lane, either Own being a sweatshop or actually treat associates with respect and kindness.
At this point, it would not surprise me if they are creating a list of people who reach out to wellness for layoffs.
Try to enjoy your weekend
No matter what. Worrying won't change a thing next week.
Advice from someone who learned the hard way
Work your hours and go home. Take your vacation days and actually disconnect. Hit the gym. See your friends more often. Learn something new so you're not stuck here forever. And talk to real people, not just LinkedIn connections.
Anyone else's stress levels at an all time high?
I don't know if it's just me or my department. Morale is low and stress levels are maxed out. More and more duties added to an already busy day. Customers relentlessly wanting everything for free, rude, and entitled. Constant fear of being fired even if you make all of your metrics and bonus every quarter. I have worked for Wayfair for 5 years and have not one time have I ever not bonused. Trying to wrap my head around if you fall below one metric for one month you still get a ROD, but I digress.
My mental health wishes AI would just do the damn thing- or a morning layoff email.
Is the stress level climbing in all departments? I know frontline and MC has been getting beat up for months, sadly. How is everyone else holding up?
How much are you guys pumped…
…for JDI day? Do you feel like they should’ve canceled it like wellness week?
Triathlon
Seriously one very top level executive is into triathlons. That is heavy commitment. I know since am in that space. It is virtually impossible unless you are almost full-time. This is a shame that CEO is ignoring this.
May is mental health month
The continued tightening of the sc--ws at the office is the thing that is giving me anxiety. The out of nowhere lay offs and lack of control. Funny that we have a bunch of mental health resources when it’s actually choices leadership made that is causing my mental health to tank.
Laid off and relieved
I was hoping for this outcome. I don't have another job lined up, like most of us don't. I'm going to take a break, decompress, and then figure out what's next. Good luck to everyone, especially the real pros and the good people I had the pleasure of working with. My advice to everyone still at Nike is to focus on finding something else. It will not get better around here.
