Office tracking dashboard

I’m checking the dashboard. I am at 57.4% for some reason.

I am in compliance every other week except one week where I came into office one day, had two home days, had used sick leave one day, and had an approved non office work day.

Why would that drop me below 60% average? all are approved days.

Dont be me

USE ALL OF YOUR PTO AND SICK TIME WHILE YOU CAN!

Unfortunately, I live in a "use it or lose it" state. I have 120 hours of sick time and 66 hours of PTO that I need to use within the next two weeks. To make matters worse, my PL said we're not allowed to request time off during the first and last weeks of August and the beginning of September because those weeks are blocked by the company. This literally only leaves the week of 8/10 & 8/17 to use it and with sick time, i would need a drs note for anything more than 3 days smh...

It really su-ks. That's a lot of earned time—and a lot of money—I may end up leaving on the table.

Germany new sick leave policy

We used to have a sick leave policy where you could take a half day sick leave or up to two days sick leave without a doctor's note. This is being changed so every half day or full day of sick leave needs a doctor's note. If there is no note, the leave would be considered as being out of office without permission and can cause suspension. This will come into effect from August or September.

SAP lobbied the current government to pass this resolution. How is the sick leave policy in your country?

Ttec is a HEARTLESS COMPANY

Just in time for Christmas and Hannukah, this wonderful company is cutting hours for agents in one of It major lines of business. I have children who won't get much this year. And these je-ks won't let us use our accumulare sick leave or vacation to cover for it. But the billionaire founder/CEO probably will have a wonderful holiday season.

Illegal sick time practices at WF

How does WF get away with these practices of reducing PTO hours for usage of sick time?

In NYC, the following law applies: “NYC's sick leave law, the Earned Safe and Sick Time Act (ESSTA), requires employers to provide paid time off for various reasons, including personal or family illness, medical appointments, and absences due to public health emergencies or domestic violence. The amount of paid leave depends on employer size, with employers with 100+ employees providing up to 56 hours annually.”

However, WF’s own policy states: “If you’re a pto eligible employee, you don’t receive paid sick time in addition to your paid time off allowance. Instead your pto can be used for reasons covered under the sick time law to provide pay and job protection. Using sick time in workday decreases your pto balance by reducing those requested hours from your monthly pto accrual.”

Isn’t this illegal?

If you start feeling sick, you can't leave until 8 hours

My manager informed us that you will be penalized for taking PTO halfway through the day and leaving early since it will count as a day in office where you spent less than 8 hours.

This company really needs to get its act together and send out official information about this tracking. Nobody knows what the he-l is going on

I predict sick time will go up

For people who track this stuff i predict sick time will double or triple. If I have a sick kid I have to pick up and leave the office I’ll just use four hours of sick time. And when I log off I will be done for the day. I’m not going to sit in an office for 5 hours and not have it count as a day back. And if I’m not feeling great instead of working from home I’ll use sick time. I bet lots of people will do the same.
