German semiconductor company Infineon Technologies America Corp. is closing its Mesa manufacturing facility. The company filed a WARN notice with the Arizona Department of Economic Security. This closure will result in the layoff of 98 employees. The plant is scheduled to cease operations by September 30. Production, quality, and facility management roles will be affected by this decision.
