I use copilot daily for my work. I see its benefits and its flaws. I am a business control manager (BCM). I think it’s going to be several years before AI take most roles in this space, providing it will succeed. I have the paid version of copilot, thought it has helped me administratively exponentially, the need for human judgment is still much needed. It hallucinates too much right now. It’s a great assistant but a terrible decision maker. It analyzes and produces what seem like sound answers, but when you ask it to double check its work it spits out different results even though no new info was fed. What will decrease jobs in this space is the ongoing deregulation.

I used AI once to help me figure which antidepressants I should be on to deal with working here but that’s about it. Didn’t bother using copilot for that either

I don’t know how much time people are spending on AI but my experience has been that AI does not produce a quality output on a consistent basis. Would love to hear what others experience has been?

The irony is that I got laid off from Wells Fargo partly because AI can do everything only to get hired by an AI company at a much higher pay to help fix the slop.

Realistically 1-2 years at the current pace. All we hear in WIM from Risk is do detailed scout reviews so AI can learn it. Thankful AG is such a cluster of incorrect info and problems they keep finding. They are reportedly rolling out advisor gateway AI in Q1 next year.

They're trying to replace all the process engineers (that they've already canned) with AI tools. I've seen the outputs and it's like 90% fluff, but it looks impressive to the managers who aren't heads down in the details anyway. Once we build our prompt library to a level the managers feel like they can run it themselves with just India assistance, I'm sure I'll be getting the boot, which I'd welcome.

In complaints, they keep pushing 2.0 with ai integration. I assume that they will do what they do best and release is unfinished, lay off more people and expect the remaining complaints management employees to pick up the slack for AI’s and loss of employees

I'm hoping to get my tin parachute on Tuesday. They're nowhere near replacing my job with AI, I just want out of this place with a package to cushion the transition.
