New Policy for H1Bs

Big development in the H1B scam. Every Software Engineer position at Capital One contains this text:

At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).

@b6 Lol why do you think congress ( both Dems and Repubs) will do that? They all make money from outsourcing.

This is what's happening. A few years ago Capone opened 1,500 job requisitions for high tech jobs in Tijuana and Mexico City, Mexico. Indian candidates moved to Mexico to take these same tech jobs opened by Capone. That is a loophole for potential H1Bs. Instead of moving to the US they moved to Mexico bypassing any H1B visa requirements.

LOL 😁

Need to plug the offshoring/outsourcing hole first, followed by the "GCC" pattern of opening a foreign office in our favorite country that benefits from American jobs being shipped overseas.

Those are going to become the bigger holes compared to H1B, and at the very least the H1Bs are paying FICA and spending money in the local economy.

Baby steps. Congress needs to pass legislation that does exactly this.
