I would say take it one pay check at a time and don't stress about it.

It’s a rough going, but we aren’t alone. T mobile although commonly reported as laying off 5,000 is really 9,500 (factoring in all of the rounds) and they already announced another round this coming October, at&t last I checked was at 8k with more layoffs coming (I know they did another one three weeks ago, not sure if it’s reported yet).
Also:
- The sun rises into the morning and sets in the evening.
- Water is wet.
- And I need a life if this what I find entertaining these days.
My God I have let Verizon take my soul. I can't do this any more.
