Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The number of "Senior" and "Principal" people who can't even write an email is staggering. Many of them barely finished high school and they are leading what's left of our R&D efforts. It is sickening. I learned a long time ago that being mentally slow is no hindrance to success so long as you use your buzzwords at the appropriate times. Yup and uh huh are power words at AT&T. Spelling and grammar, not so much.

Ummmmm... every other Fortune 500 company that employs people for the greater good of humanity. Everybody makes their own choice when, where, how or for whom earning a dollar will be made. One can choose to sit on the sidelines and blame every facet of society that meets their narrative (narci much??). There are many ways to live, which one is a choice no matter which way someone wants to spin it. Reality can be tough sometimes, what one chooses can be as well. This statement has nothing to do with politics, corporate welfare, human sacrifice, gender/race equality... just truth, do with it what your human self will do!

This says more about AT&T's leaders than it does the individual!

Ask Stank. He can't do a good job as CEO and is a top rated model of what not to do.

Pretty sure its the New Hires...they have been coddled and enabled by their parents since they were born. Now they can't even figure out how to call customers and talk to them for sales. God forbid a customer raises their voice and one of those tenured folks has to take over the call.
