We're doing three jobs for one paycheck, get no support from management, and live in constant fear of layoffs. When did this become our new normal?

I’ve seen it is other roles but this is far worse. Not sure where they really over hired, hear that from time to time, but it seems everyone is understaffed.
Fidelity always had a reputation as a sweat shop. Constant layoffs as well. Now they've overhired during Covid and chickens have come home to roost. It was a better company back in the day - but some of the reality that everyone is complaining about as new has been around forever.
@b9 Thanks.I will try. Will probably get fired, though. But I need to get out.
Let the work not get done - I know it’s easier said than done. I am trying to practice this advice myself. Everyone slow down starting in Sept

And here you are 28 minutes before 5am EST think I’m about it. And here I am at 5am checking this forum.
I am in the same boat. It’s terrible. I’m sorry.
This is not normal and not how we should live. It’s a “do it or leave” mindset here.
My BU is so broken. I made a huge mistake changing roles awhile back. We are understaffed by design and expected to completely live for the role, no matter what we have to do to get multiple days worth of work done each day.
