I have heard some people already know that they are being let go. Has everyone being laid off been told? I just want to understand the timeline and process. The uncertainty is so distracting.

Just get out while you have the choice.
@ah US Castrol employees will be out December 1st of this year. No real support or clear info is being shared on the details. Little to no responses to emailed questions from HR or leadership.

those been let go and already know and are leaving are at group leader level, which is probobly what you are hearing, all over levels down are yet to be announced, as someone posted earlier, uk consultation started with outcomes likely mid november with departures by end of the year with US similar time scale, given the way the org has been announced and depending what job you do, its does take a genius to figure out if you are at risk or not
We learned that the org is already designed. It’s been driven by cost so doubtful that the future workload is even manageable - that hasn’t really been factored in. They know who’s likely to be in every box now. God speed and may the force be with you.
