180 people are being laid off in Greenville. God speed

Still 6000 people working in Greenville right? How many are getting laid off? 130? That's not so bad. Sounds about normal when a contract ends.
Clifton lost about 60 people out of 1300 a couple of years ago.
Defense jobs pay a little more because the risk of job loss is higher.
@as Trump doesn't have anything to do with L3HARRIS being a sh-t company. No talent leadership and an inability to secure contracts. Even the CEO can't behave himself.
The other defense contractors are doing fine.
110 union members all together
80 aircraft mechanics
And 35 low skilled electrical assembliers
At least that what the local union site said
And about half the salary staff that support the low skilled electrical assemblers
Aircraft mechanics salary staff are safe due to their skills
Heard 80 union members for certain, with a “voluntary separation package” for employees that want to retire. Have no idea on salary side though.
I hope it’s me
Please don’t get offended.
Sorry that the truth hurts!!!!
@as fu-k off
At Greenville site today they just sent out to all hourly an early retirement package
It’s just keep getting worse their
When Obama and Biden were in charge the site did well
Thanks for voting in Trump
@ah are you d-mb? 🤣

Unlike before, this time they can commiserate with The Kube at a bar …
And so it begins
So it begins
